Customs and Border Protection spokesman Jeffrey Quinones says it's the first time in more than a decade that Indian migrants have been detained in an illegal trip to the US territory.
The 19 migrants found aboard a wooden vessel also included five Dominicans and one Haitian.
Authorities said today that group was found just north of Mona Island between Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic.
They said one person was arrested and that the others were repatriated to the Dominican Republic.
