2 arrested for selling land with fake documents

Two persons, including a woman, have been arrested here on the charge of re-selling 72 cent of land, already sold, using fake documents, police said.
Nilober Nisha of Aranthanki and her accomplice Muhammad Meera were arrested yesterday and produced today before a court in Alangudi which remanded them to 15 days judicial custody.
Police said they were searching for the brother of the woman and another person in connection with the case.
Nisha had in January, 2006 sold the land belonging to her to a person. Later, she along with her brother sold the same land to another person using fake documents in January 2010.

The fraud came to light when the person who first bought the land attempted to sell it recently.
