The accused have been identified as Gurpal Singh (24) and Chamkaur Singh (25), both residents of Moga, police said.
The victim, in her complaint, alleged that when she was busy in compromising between two parties yesterday, the accused caught her with the intention of outraging her modesty and even thrashed her, they said.
Based on the victim's complaint, a case was registered against the duo under relevant sections.
No arrest has been made so far and investigations are on.
