Two young boys were washed away in a village after their bullock cart overturned in rising waters of river Ganga, officials said today.
"The incident took place in Raghupur Pukhta village last evening when Urvesh (12) and Pravesh (15) were returning home in a bullock cart. The water levels of river Ganga started rising, and the bullock cart turned upside down. It subsequently got washed away," SDM, Ginnaur, Prati Pal Singh said.
The body of Urvesh has been recovered, while a hunt has been launched to fish out Pravesh's body, he said.
