Indrajit, a native of Haryana who is also an accused in a 2006 murder case and currently out on bail, reversed his car and hit a biker and two policemen when stopped at a police post in Shaukracharya Chowk for not following traffic rules, Superintendent of Police (City) Surjit Singh Panwar said.
Head constable Lalit Arya and traffic sub-inspector Ganga Singh were among the three injured in the incident, he said, adding that they all were out of danger.
Indrajit, who has been arrested, has been booked under Sections 307 (attempt to murder), 332 (voluntarily causing hurt to deter public servant from his duty) and other relevant sections of the IPC.
