Two couples allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of trains in Rajasthan's Sikar and Jalore districts apparently over their failed love affair, the policed said today.
In Sikar district, Pawan Kumar Meena (27) and Seema Meena (20) jumped in front of a freight train. The bodies were handed over to their family members after post-mortem, a police official said.
In Jalore district, Satish Mali (18) and Aarti Sain (18) jumped in front of Gandhidham-Jodhpur Express train, police said.
The duo had left their homes yesterday and was found dead on rail tracks. The matter has been registered under section 174 of CrPc, acting SHO of Jalore's Kotwali Police Station Bhagirath Ram said.
