The incident took place when Shivantu Sarkar and Chotu were replacing the tyre of their vehicle while returning to Nawada from Kolkata, Akbarpur police station in-charge Sanjeev Mahuar said.
The bus has been impounded but the driver of the vehicle managed to flee, Mahuar said, adding that the bodies have been sent for post-mortem.
