others injured when they were hit by the splinters of a flour grinding machine in Gandaspur village here, police said today.
The incident occurred yesterday when two large grinding stones, broke into several small pieces while grinding wheat.
The deceased Majid (65) and Nepal Singh (45), were standing nearby the machine when the incident occurred because of which they were severely injured in their head and abdomen, leading to their death, police said.
Four others were injured and were rushed to the district hospital, they said.
According to villagers, Dinesh, who had the flour grinding machine (Chakki) mounted on his tractor-trolley, used to visit neighboring villages to grind grains.
A case has been registered against him who is absconding, police said.
The bodies have been sent for post mortem examination said, they added.
