The incident happened this morning when the trio riding the same bike without helmets had a head-on collision with a pick-up van at a turn of a road, they said.
Holoshankar Acharya (32) and Shyamsundar Acharya (35) died on the spot, while the third rider (identity still unknown) was rushed to the Bankura Sammilani Medical College Hospital with serious injuries, police said.
An FIR has been registered in this connection and police have initiated a search programme for the the van's driver who escaped the scene, they said.
