2 dead, one seriously injured in accident

Two persons were killed while a woman was seriously injured when their car was hit by another vehicle near Salogara on Shimla-Kalka national Highway, 40 km from here today.
62-year-old Kedar Sood and Tilak Ram (58) were on their way from Shimla to Salon in their car when it was hit by an SUV, police said.
While Sood and Ram died at a hospital in Solan, the condition of Sood's wife, Shashi Sood (57), was stated to be critical.
Meanwhile, in another accident, one person was killed and 15 others were injured when a bus carrying a marriage party fell into a gorge near Arlu near Una today.

Four seriously injured persons were referred to PGI, Chandigarh, police said.
