2 drown in Kashmir

Two persons drowned in separate incidents in north Kashmir, police said today.
Imtiyaz Ahmad Gunjal of Nagranar area of Handwara in Kupwara district drowned while bathing in an artificial dam, a police spokesman said.
Gunjal's body was fished out from the dam and handed over to his relatives.
In another incident, Mustafa Lone of Churwan area of Gurez in Bandipora district slipped into Kishen Ganga river and drowned, the spokesman said.
Lone's body was recovered near Achoora village and handed over to his relatives, he said.
