Ranjha Singh and Sonu Kumar Sharma, residents of Dhugh village in the district, were arrested yesterday with 4kg heroin, one 9mm pistol, two pistol magazines and 15 live cartridges, BSF DIG (Punjab Frontier) RS Kataria said.
The DIG said investigations are underway to find out who was sending the drug consignment from Pakistan and how Indian smugglers managed to get in touch with the suspected Pakistan- based smugglers.
