Two men, accused of stealing nearly two dozen laptops in Uttar Pradesh's Gautam Budh Nagar district, were arrested on Tuesday, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, Ajay Pal and Sachin were arrested on a service road near Alpha I in Greater Noida while they were en route on a two-wheeler to another location, they said.
As many as 22 laptops of various brands were recovered from their possession along with firearms. Their two-wheeler has also been impounded, the police said.
Ajay is a resident of Ghaziabad and Sachin hails from Bijnor, but has been living in the district for some time now, the police said.
A first information report (FIR) was registered at Kasna police station under Sections 411, 414 and 482 of the Indian Penal Code. The arrested persons have been remanded in judicial custody, they added.
