BSF official D S Rana said that two packets of heroin were seized. The contraband was smuggled to India from the Pakistan side, he said.
Based on specific information a special search operation was carried out by BSF troops in the area of responsibility of BOP Chhanmulla during which two packets containing two kilogram heroin was recovered, he said.
They were were wrapped in yellow plastic tape and buried in soil, said Rana.
