Maniram (65) and his grandson Shiva (4) died on the spot when their car lost control and overturned in Kodra Majre Maharajpur village in Sareni area here, police said, adding five persons were also injured.
They were all returning from Gurubuxganj along with other members of the family after the marriage of Maniram's son.
The bodies of the victims have been sent for postmortem.
