2 killed, 5 injured in clash over fish-farming

Two persons were killed and five others injured when two groups clashed over fish-farming at Nozdepur village in North 24 Parganas district today, police said.
An altercation broke out between two groups over fish-farming in ponds at Nozdepur following which they clashed with each other using firearms resulting in the death of two on the spot, they said.
The two deceased were identified as Nofer Ali Mollah and Jamshed Mollah, police said, adding, that three out the injured five, suffered bullet injuries and were taken to a Kolkata hospital.
Two persons have been detained in this connection and senior police officers have rushed to the spot, they said.
