2 killed over land dispute

Two persons were killed and five others injured in a clash between two groups over a land dispute in Shahjahanpur district, police said here.
The incident took place at Raghunathpur village in Allahaganj area of Shahjahnpur this afternoon when groups of Mukesh Singh and Veerpal clashed and opened fire at each other, they said.
While Suraj (23), son of Mukesh and Veerpal (58) died in the incident, five others injured were rushed to the hospital, where their condition was stated to be stable, police said.
The incident was stated to be fallout of land dispute.
An FIR has been lodged and police is probing the matter.
