Police today arrested two more persons for their alleged involvement in the killing of BJD councillor in Ganjam district last month.
With them, a total of 15 persons have been arrested in connection with the murder of Laxmidutta Pradhan at his house in Chhatrapur on September 16.
Some more persons were involved in the case and they have been identified, police said adding that they would also be arrested soon.
Previous enmity was suspected to be the reason for the killing.
Pradhan was the councillor in ward no 6 of Chhatrapur NAC. He was also the former president of the Ganjam district unit of ruling BJD's student wing.
Pradhan was an accused in the murder case of Sakuru Behera, a CPI supporter, at Chhatrapur in 2014.
