2 Noida Authority employees held for stealing files

Two Noida Authority employees were arrested today for allegedly stealing a file related to an inquiry against a plot here, police said.
Indira Gandhi Kala Kendra chowkidar Dinesh Gupta and Noida Authority peon Jagdish were arrested after the file of Sector 15A plot, which was stolen from desk officer Pradeep Dutt Sharma's safe, was recovered from them, they said.
Sharma had lodged an FIR against the two and another Bharat Rana, son of a retired IAS officer and owner of the house in Sector 15A in this connection, police said.
A manhunt has been launched to arrest Rana, who had allegedly given the duo an amount of Rs 10,000 for stealing the file, they said.

A departmental inquiry also has been initiated against the two, a Noida Authority official said.
Few years back, Central Excise department had raided Rana's Bijnore factory and recovered papers relating to the allotment of the disputed Noida Sector 15 A house, which were to be verified with the stolen file.
