District and Sessions Judge Raghbuvar Dayal convicted Pradip Tiwary and Mukhesh Singh of gunning down Pradip Singh alias Bholu on November 30, 2012, near Bairia Chowk under Medininagar police station.
Both the convicts were sentenced to life imprisonment under section 302 (murder) IPC.
According to the FIR lodged after the incident, the duo had an altercation with the victim, who happened to be their friend, during a drinking session and shot him dead.
