Two suspected drug traffickers were arrested with 2.4 kg of cannabis in Greater Noida, police said Monday.
The accused, Pappu (30) and Dharampal (35), were held in Kasna area here late Sunday night, the police said.
"The two were held after 2 kg 400 gram of ganja was seized from them," Station House Officer at Greater Noida Police Station Dharmendra Sharma said.
A case was registered against them under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, he said, adding both were remanded in judicial custody.
"Pappu and Dharampal are residents of Kasna. They have been arrested and jailed on the charges of drug trafficking earlier also," Sharma said, adding that they were released six months ago from prison.
