Kamar Abbas and Nisar Ahmed were apprehended from Outer Ring Road near Rohini Jail yesterday on a tip-off, Ravindra Yadav, Additional Commissioner of Police (Crime), said.
"Two sophisticated 7.65 bore pistols and four live cartridges were recovered from their possession," Yadav said.
Abbas told the police that he had purchased three pistols at Rs 11,000 each from one Arman of Munger district of Bihar, the officer claimed.
"Ahmed had agreed to purchase one of the pistols from him. Both of them agreed to meet at Galaxy Toyota and while checking the pistol both were apprehended.
