2 teenagers drown while taking bath in pool

Two teenagers today drowned in a pool while bathing in Tarauli village of this district, police said.
The incident took place when Manpal (16) and Ghanshyam (15), both residents of Pilaura village, had come to Tarauli village to recharge their mobile phones, Deputy SP Peeyush Singh said.
One of the victim drowned in an attempt to save his friend, who slipped while taking bath in the Swami Baba pool, an eye-witness said, adding, the boys had died by the time their bodies were fished out.
The bodies have been handed to the family without postmortem as the families were not in favour of it, the Deputy SP said.
