2 undertrials found dead

Two undertrials were found dead in the district jail here today, after which a probe has been ordered into the incident.
Pawan (23), a resident of Akashvani who was lodged in the district jail for his alleged involvement in a theft in 2009, and 27-year-old Shibbo, who hails from Vrindaban and had been in jail since 2010 for alleged involvement in a loot case, were found in an unconscious state.
They were taken to the district hospital where doctors declared them brought dead.
There bodies were sent for post-mortem.
The DIG has been entrusted with conducting an inquiry into the circumstances leading to their death, ADG B.K. Gupta said.
