2 women commit suicide in Kupwara

In two separate incidents, a woman and a 17-year-old girl allegedly committed suicide in Kupwara district, police said today.
The girl consumed some poisonous substance at her home in Haril-Handwara area of Kupwara yesterday.
She was rushed to the district hospital in Handwara where she breathed her last, police said.
In another incident, a 26-year-old woman of Kralpora area also allegedly consumed poisonous substance at her home.
She was rushed to the Sub-District hospital at Kralpora where doctors declared her brought dead.
In a separate incident, an SPO, Mohammad Maqbool, allegedly attempted suicide in Uri area of Baramulla district, police said.

He has been admitted to Sub District hospital at Uri.
