40-year-old Tahir was physically assaulted on August 31 after he protested against some miscreants who were molesting his daughter.
"After Tahir protested against the miscreants for molesting his daughter, the attackers came to our house later in the evening and attacked him with sticks," said Tahir's elder brother Zahid Hussain.
"When the attackers left we found Tahir had already died," Hussain added.
"Asif and Wasim have been arrested and have been booked under various sections of the IPC. FIR has been lodged against 13 others in the case. Investigation is on in the case," said Station Officer Kotwali Didouli Santosh Chauhan.
