He said that vegetables collected from farmers' bazaars (rythu bazaars) of Rajahmundry, Kakinada, Kothapeta, Amalapuram and other places, were transported to Visakhaptnam.
He said that these vegetables would be sold at subsidised rates like potatoes, onions and tomatoes at Rs 5 per kilogram and other vegetables for Rs 3 per kilogram to cyclone hit people in Visakhapatnam.
Meanwhile, East Godavari District Collector Neetu Prasad said that the government has decided to postpone its Janmabhoomi Mavuru programme for two more days (October 15 and October 16) due to Cyclone Hudhud.
