allegedly at her house in Juri village near Malawan town here while she was alone, police said today.
The accused, Ajab Singh entered the girl's house last Tuesday and raped her. When she tried to resist, he threatened to kill her.
The family members rushed to the spot hearing her cries but Singh managed to escape.
An FIR was yesterday registered with the police in this connection, they said.
No arrest has been made so far, they said, adding efforts are on to nab the absconding accused.
