2013 Delhi Half Marathon to be held on December 15

The ninth edition of the Airtel Delhi Half Marathon (ADHM) will be held in the capital on December 15.
With a prize purse of USD 210,000, ADHM is the world's rishest half marathon and is expected to attract 40 of the world's top 100 male and female long distance athletes.
The registration for the 2013 edition of ADHM, the world's most prestigious half marathon, was declared open at the lauch of the event at a city hotel here today.
This year's ADHM will be held at the iconic Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium.
This year's ADHM is expected to witness the participation from over 30,000 sports loving citizens of Delhi who will run along side some of the world's best long distance athletes, the organisers said.

Besides the Half Marathon, the race day has been packed with features like the Great Delhi Run, the Senior Citizen's Run and the Wheelcahir Run.
Bollywood actres Bipasha Basu will continue to be ADHM's "Face of the Event", the orgainsers said.
The ADHM, to be held under the aegis of the Athletics Federation of India (AFI), will have an additional prize purse of USD 7,500 for new course records. The Indian course recors also carry a bonus of Rs 1 lakh each.
