2015 instilled people's confidence in administration: Khattar

Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar today said in 2015 his government succeeded in not only improving business as well as general atmosphere in the state but also instilling in the people a sense of trust and confidence in administration.
Stating that 2016 would be an important year from the standpoint of performance, Khattar said the state government was determined to provide all necessary facilities to all people without any discrimination.
"A system has been put in place to disburse the social security pensions, including the old-age pension, through banks to ensure that people get pension on time," he said.
Besides, those ineligible have been weeded out of the list of beneficiaries, the CM added.
This effort has been appreciated by all and no complaint has been received on this account, Khattar said, adding, "We have streamlined various systems to provide hassle-free services to the people in a transparent manner."
"E-registration has been started to curb corruption in tehsils. Besides, various people-centric services are being provided by using Information Technology," he said.
"Village secretariats (Gram Sachivalyas) have been started in the villages to provide people all facilities under one roof.As many as 27 different services are being provided to the people through Common Service Centres (CSC) whose number would soon be increased to 164," the CM said listing out the highs of his regime in the past year.
Pointing that 2016 would be the Golden Jubilee Year of the formation of Haryana, he said all departments have been asked to set targets to be achieved by the end of the year. Various programmes would be organised throughout the year and Gita Jayanti would be celebrated on a large scale, he added.
As many as 134 big and small tourist places in Kurukshetra would be developed, he said.
On his scheduled foreign visit, the Chief Minister said that he would be leading a delegation to China and Japan from January 17 to 25, 2016.
"The main aim of the visit is to attract foreign investment and apprise people there of the entrepreneur- friendly atmosphere in Haryana," he said.
"We would also invite them to the'Happening Haryana Global Investors Summit' to be held in Gurgaon on March 7 and 8, 2016," he added.
