The accident took place when the driver was trying to overtake a tractor trolley and lost control
While 10 of the injured passengers were rushed to Civil Hospital in Phagwara, 13 other passengers were admitted to Panshta hospital, they said.
Among the injured were 11 women and a child.
The bus driver Amarjit Singh was also among the injured, they said.
All the injured passengers belonged to a cluster of villages around Nadalon.
