24 IIS officers transferred

Twenty-four officers of the Indian Information Service (IIS) were transferred today, in a third major reshuffle since November last year.
The transfers or postings of the IIS Group 'A' officers are with immediate effect, an order of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting said.
This is the third major reshuffle after the ministry shifted 20 senior officers last week and 24 in November.
As many as 10 deputy directors and 14 assistant director -level officers have been tranferred, according to today's order.
Arvind Kumar Jain, who was the deputy director of news in Doordarshan, Aizwal has been made the deputy director (media and communications), Press Information Bureau (PIB) here.
He will look after the publicity works of the Ministry of Human Resource Development.
Anshuman Mishra, who was posted as the deputy director, Doordarshan News, Delhi has been transferred as the deputy director( media and communications), PIB in Delhi.
He has been assigned the publicity and media related- works of the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
Ashutosh Mohle, the assistant director at the Publications Division in Delhi, will look after the media- related works of the finance ministry, while Arunmohan K has been allotted the Ministry of External Affairs for publicity works.
