Charu was found dead in her house yesterday, they said.
She was married to one Sarvapriya, a doctor by profession. The couple had a love marriage around 10 months ago, but had, over the period of time, developed differences, police said.
A sub-divisional magistrate carried out an inquiry into the matter. A case was registered today and her husband arrested for allegedly harassing her, they said.
