25-year-old nurse abducted, gang raped in UP

A 25-year-old nurse was allegedly abducted and gang raped by four persons near Pandit Nagla Bypass in Moradabad district, police said today.
The victim, a resident of Ganj area of Rampur was abducted by four persons on Sunday while she was buying vegetables and gang raped by the accused at an unknown place in Moradabad for three days as per the complaint by the kin of the nurse, SP Rampur, Sadhna Goswami said.
The victim was found in an unconscious state near Pandit Nagla Bypass under Khatgher police station here yesterday, she said.
The nurse is undergoing treatment and her medical reports are awaited, police said.

The incident will be investigated upon expeditiously once the case is transferred to Rampur police, Goswami said.
The maternal uncle of the victim has alleged that two of the accused had harassed the nurse before and a case was filed regarding the matter at Gunj police station.
