CBI's Superintendent of Police Vivek Priyadarshi, who is the CIO, deposed as a prosecution witness and told Special CBI Judge O P Saini about various searches and documents seized by him and his team members during the investigation.
"During investigation, a search warrant was obtained by me from this court on October 21, 2009. On the strength of this search warrant, I conducted a search of the office premises of Access Services Cell, Department of Telecommunications, Government of India, Sanchar Bhawan... On October 22,2009.
His recording of statement remained inconclusive and would continue on November 11.
Meanwhile, another investigating officer S K Sinha, Deputy SP of CBI, in his deposition said it was wrong to suggest that the agency did not find any incriminating evidence against DMK MP Kanimozhi who is also an accused in the case.
He said it was wrong to suggest that they had decided to "implicate an honest woman falsely" in this case despite knowing that there was no incriminating evidence against her.
