Meanwhile, a Bengaluru report said a police team has been deputed to take Reddy into custody and interrogate him further in connection with his involvement in the ATM case.
"One Madhukar Reddy arrested by Chittoor Police has indicated his involvement in ATM case. Our team has been dispatched to interrogate," Bengaluru Police Commissioner Pravin Sood said in a tweet.
