In an undercover operation, police anti-vice squad arrested Jyotswa from a posh hotel in Chepauk here and also Arul and Sangeetha.
Five women, hailing from Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, West Bengal and Karnataka and forced into prostitution after false promises of opportunity to act in films, were also rescued, police said.
According to police Jyotswa hails from southern port town of Tuticorin in Tamil Nadu and began his life as a room-boy in hotels.
"Women were lured through advertisements on the internet promising roles in films and forced into flesh trade," police said.
Jyotswa was out on bail after his arrest on similar charges and had been carrying on flesh trade stealthily, police said.
