3 arrested for smuggling in Pakistani Punjab

Three Pakistani men were arrested by law enforcement agencies near the Indian border today while they were allegedly smuggling liquor into the country.
The men - identified only as Omair, Kashif and Shahzad - were arrested near Ganda Singh in Kasur district, 50 km from Lahore.
Officials said they were caught while entering Pakistan from the Indian side. Scores of liquor bottles were recovered from them, they said.
Geo News channel reported Indian passports and currency were also recovered from them though this could not be independently confirmed.
A case was registered against the men.
