Three bombs went off in an open field at Jinnah Town, Gawalmandi Chowk and an intersection at Gurdat Singh Road this evening.
Six persons were injured at Gawalmandi Chowk, police officials told the media.
Three of the injured were in a serious condition, officials said.
The explosions were heard from several kilometres away and caused panic across Quetta, the capital of Balochistan province.
No group claimed responsibility for the attacks.
