3 drug peddlers arrested in Kashmir

Three suspected drug peddlers were today arrested and one kg of charas was found in their possession in Pulwama district of south Kashmir, police said.
They were arrested after police intercepted their private vehicle on a tip-off at Awantipora, 32 km from here on Srinagar-Jammu National Highway, a police spokesman said.
One kilogramme of charas was recovered during the search of the vehicle, he said.
The spokesman identified the drug peddlers as Aadil Wani, Mohammad Dilawar and Ubaid Bhat, and said a case has been registered against them.
