Three people, including two teens, were Monday arrested for phoning the Thane police control room repeatedly and abusing women constables on duty there, an official said.
Mukesh Saxena (19), Girish Saxena (19) and Asu Goud (25) called in over 50 times from different numbers between midnight and 1 am, he said.
"We traced the calls to Manpada area and arrested the three. They have been charged under sections 354 (outraging modesty of woman) and 186 (obstructing public servant in discharge of public functions) of the IPC," said Senior Inspector Mangesh Sawant of Thane Nagar police station.
