3 held for sale of banned forest produce

Three people today arrested in connection with illegal transportation and sale of forest produce and Rs 5 lakh have been recovered from them, police said.
The trio was engaged in the illegal transport and sale of Trilleien Govartaion -- a forest produce whose sale and purchase is banned under the Forest Act, they said.
The amount recovered from them was suspected to have been received from sale of about 250 kg of banned forest produce.
