3 held, stolen property worth Rs 6 lakh recovered

Police today arrested three people on charges of theft and recovered stolen property worth Rs 6 lakh from their possession, an official said.

They were arrested from the Akbarpur Tarauli road which comes under the jurisdiction of Chhatta Kotwali, SSP Babloo Kumar said.

The police also seized three country-made pistols and three live cartridges from their possession, Kumar said.

The accused were identified as Raju Pahalwan, Anil and Rupesh, he said.
