on the charge of attempting to steal an ATM of a nationalised bank at Magudih under Seraikela Police station of Seraikela-Kharswan district, police said.
The arrests were made after a police patrolling party spotted some metallic objects concealed in a bush near village Chota Tangrani on Seraikela-Chaibasa Main road last night.
On investigation, the metallic objects turned out to be three motorcycles.
During a search operation around the area, the police team found three persons inside the closed ATM booth attempting to steal the machine.
Police arrested all the three persons identified as Satyabrat Mohanty, Nimit Mohanty and Sonu Mohanty, all residents of Chota Aamda village under adjacent Kharswan police station of the district.
Police have also recovered two black coloured bags, a solar light and solar panel and calculators from them.
