3 killed, 15 hurt as vehicle falls into gorge in J&K

Three persons, including two women, were killed and 15 others injured when the overcrowded vehicle they were travelling in skidded off the road and fell into a deep gorge in Reasi district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said today.
The ill-fated Tata Sumo was on its way to Reasi from the Bomaag area of the district last evening when the driver lost control of the vehicle which plunged into a deep gorge at the Dangakote area, police said.
In the mishap, a woman passenger died on the spot, while two others, including another woman, died in Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital here, they added.

A case has been registered and further investigations were on, police said.
