The driver of the jeep lost control over the vehicle due to poor visibility caused by dense fog in the morning, sources said.
The victims were on their way to Gorgada village in Palamau district from Ranka in adjoining Garwah district to work in a brick kiln.
All the injured, including a three-year-old child, have been admitted in the Sadar Hospital, where the condition of four was stated to be serious, sources said.
The victims have been identified as Kamesh Bhuiyan (28), Sarita Devi (22) and the two-year-old Yashoda, police added.
