3 killed, 8 injured as jeep collides with tanker in UP

Three persons were today killed and eight others injured when a jeep in which they were travelling collided with a diesel tanker in Aurai area here.
Naseer Ansari (40), Khalil Ansari (50) and Akbar Ansari (55) were killed when the jeep collided with the tanker on the national highway here, police said.
The jeep was carrying 11 passengers, they said.
Eight persons were injured out of which six have been referred to Allahabad in serious condition, police said.
