3 killed after vehicle rams into motorbike

Three people were killed today when a motorcycle they were riding on was hit by another vehicle in Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur district, police sources said.
The mishap took place when the victims were returning to their native Bansajhal village after attending a function in a nearby village, said Bilaspur Additional Superintendent of Police (Rural) G R Thakur.
The deceased were identified as Shivram Maravi (35), Ramprasad Vishwakarma (25) and Pardeshiram (26).
The collision was so severe that Maravi and Vishwakarma died on the spot, while Pardeshiram succumbed to his injuries while undergoing treatment at the Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Science (CIMS), Thakur said.

"Preliminary investigations revealed that a heavy vehicle hit their bike," he said. The owner or the vehicle was not yet identified.
A case has been registered in connection with the mishap, Thakur said, adding that further probe was on.
