3 killed in road accident in Ludhiana

Three persons were today killed when the bike they were riding on rammed into a crane near Chawni Mohalla on old GT road here.
Deceased were identified as Mohd Usman, Sarman and Sajev Ali, all belonged to Saharanpur in Uttar Pradesh, said Inspector Maninder Bedi, Slemtabri Police Station here.
All of them were in the age group of 19 to 22 years.
Bedi said the accident took place when they were on their way to home on a bike, when it rammed into a crane which was shifting electric polls from the roadside. All of them died on the spot, police said.

A case has been registered in this regard, they said.
