3 labourers electrocuted in Churu

Three labourers were today electrocuted and as many received burn injuries when an iron ladder they were shifting came in contact with a 11,000 KV electricity line in Churu district.
The labourers were shifting the 20-feet high ladder inside an underconstruction house when it touched the power line, leaving three of them dead on the spot, Station House Officer of Sujangarh police station, Anil Mund said.
The victims were identified as Saddam, Muslim and Khalid, all aged 25 years, he said.
The injured have been admitted to a local hospital where their condition is stated to be stable, the SHO added.
